My daughter sold enough magazines to get a limo ride to Chuckie Cheese.  She had a blast.  I explained that we aren't taking a limo the next time we go:)

We did family photos today at 3 locations.  We had a blast.  One of my closest friends has started doing professional photography.  So she came into town to take pictures.  We had a blast.  This is a photo I took with my phone in between locations. 

279 Extraordinary Ordinary Man

I am married to a 2011 Extraordinary Ordinary Man of the Year Nominee.  I am blessed because he is extraordinary and HUMBLE.  He is an incredible husband, parent, employee, volunteer, and most importantly Christian.  I am beyond proud for everything he does and he never publicizes it.  He prefers behind the scene stuff.  Tonight he was honored for making our community a better place.  He is on the Executive Board for the State Farm Holiday Classic, leader for ALL Iphone Uversion support, helps with events at Gabrielle's school, plays trombone at church, helps with cameras/graphics for church, helps with internet publication for church, volunteers to ref Upwards basketball, helps at softball tournaments, raises money for Relay for Life, and the list goes on and on.  That is all the stuff he does for everyone else.  I didn't even list all the stuff he does for his family and work.  He is amazing and I am blessed to be his wife.

 Adopting a pet is a BIG decision for any family and not one that should be entered into lightly.  With such a wide variety of pets and breeds to choose from, you want to find one that will fit well into your family dynamic.  Follow these Top 10 Tips to help you find the perfect pet for you. 
1.  Involve all family members in the household in the decision process of selecting your pet.

2.  Determine any constraints of your home. Will your pet of choice need a large yard or do you need a pet best suited for apartment living?

3.  Determine any constraints of your schedule. Are you able to devote enough time for the exercise, grooming and training that your pet will need?

4.  Make sure you can afford the pet before making your final decision about bringing a new furry family member into your home. Pure bred pets (especially puppies and kittens) can cost quite a bit. Adopting a pet from a local animal shelter is sometimes more affordable and offers the added benefit of rescuing a
pet in need.

5.  Do you have the time and patience needed to devote to the training of a young pet, or would your family be better suited with an adult dog?

6.  Identify what temperament and personality you would like in a pet.

7.  Do your research. Familiarize yourself with pet breeds to find one that is well suited for your family and lifestyle.

8.  Found a pet that you think is perfect for your family?  Have each family member spend some one-on-one time with the pet prior to adoption.

9.  Find a reputable rescue organization (such as MWDR) or adoption center. Know the history and background of your pet before you bring him into your home.

10.  Go with your gut. If a particular pet "just feels right," chances are, he will fit well into your family dynamic.
